FAI Pathways.  What did we learn last night?   Nothing New Really!

Big Focus is on play more . More Football More Often More Variety. ENCOURAGE/PLAY/COACH . Some Actions will be rolled out after the Consultation Presentation are finished.  So around February 20ththere should be an announcement and some will be rolled out within 18 months.

1. Calendar Football will be rolled out for all. Date TBC. Roll out for all Football at the same time. Grassroots to Senior. 

2. Leagues will operate from February to November.  Some staggered breaks for underage if required by each League. See slide.  All leagues start and finish at same time November. ( WDSL already play Calendar Football)

3. Clubmark Roll out for Clubs and new League Clubmark.  ( League Clubmark was proposed by WDSL in the past)

4. All Leagues and affiliates as they are and the FAI will work and consult with all and upgrade Rule Books.

5. Adult football Pyramid to strive for Grassroots to  Junior ;Intermediate ; Senior and LOI is the quest. Leagues working together on this.

6. Lots of the rest are still aspirational!!  New National Centre for Coaching. Facilities Loan Book for Clubs.  Roll out ot coaching in Schools. Educational Pathway along side Pro Football etc

Slick Presentation as usual from Mark and not much from the floor in negativity all positive.  Majority in agreement or holding their powder for a later date. One slight argument disagreement at the end with the DDSL on a question of the SFAI.
